Past Study Events
'Get with the Beat' cardiac Study Day took place on the 13th October 2016.
The Anglia region committee would like to inform their members that Hayley Gilbrook has recently resigned. We would like to say a big "THANK -YOU" to Hayley for all the years she has given to the BACCN Anglia region. Hayley was instrumental in getting the Anglia region up and running back in 2004. She has always been there - sourcing REPS to support our study days, creating fantastic posters, counting the pennies as Treasurer and just being a great support. So "Thank-you" again Hayley - we will miss you.

Anglia Region Win 'Special Recognition' Award at BACCN's 2015 International Conference
The Anglia region was delighted to receive a special recognition award for our hard work as a committee – the Champagne went down a treat! Our new members have thrown themselves into helping organise our next study day (“It’s Critical, but not as you know it” – 14th October 2015) and taken on many of the jobs involved. Although as a group we are quite spread out over the region, contact is maintained via regular email and Webex – so it can be done!

The Aim of our link nurses: To develop an effective method of communication between members across the Anglia Region and the National Regional Committee.
The role remains fluid as the needs of the region change. Link members will receive regular communication and updates, contributing to the establishment of an effective communication system across the region.
Hello! I'm Janet and as chair of the Anglia region committee, I would like to welcome you to the Anglia pages!
It is easy to find out what is going on in the BACCN in this area by taking a look at our pages. You will find information on future study events, who's who on the committee and how you can get involved with the BACCN in the Anglia region by becoming a link member or joining the committee. We are always keen to get new members and would like to have a link in every unit in the region. Can you help with this?
Each year, we aim to run three regional study events on a variety of topics, so keep an eye on the pages to see what is coming up. We always aim to provide quality study events which reflect current practice so, why not come along to the next one to see for yourself? It is always a great opportunity to meet the committee and other members from the region.
If you would like to know more or want to get involved in anyway, please get in touch, I would love to hear from you!
