British Association of Critical Care Nurse & Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurses | Breaking Down Barriers

The BACCN Conference Team are excited to continue from our 2020 conference collaboration with the Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary (ECC) Nurses where they introduced us to the work they do within their unique speciality and sharing the significant cross over between animal and human critical care nursing issues & practices.

This year for the 2nd BACCN Virtual Conference we have invited Lucy Speak (RVN, MSc VP, SA Hydro, VOA Accredited, Recover and Fear Free Certified) to share the work she has been doing in critical illness rehabilitation. Critical Care illness recovery & rehabilitation will form a significant part of our conference this year and it will be fantastic to hear how this translates into veterinary critical care.

Whether you are an RVN in referral practice or small practice come along and look at what is being done within the ECC nursing field in both veterinary and human medicine.  This is not just for ECC nurses, as every RVN will be faced with critical patients throughout their career. We would also like to invite you to join a forum meeting during conference to discuss how we develop a joint platform with the BACCN and what we can offer in this unique collaboration.
