BACCN Position Statement Review

The British Association of Critical Care Nurses (BACCN) is currently reviewing its position statement on visiting practices across the UK, this was last reviewed pre-pandemic.
As part of the preliminary scoping stage, we would greatly appreciate input from trusts across the UK regarding their current local visiting policies and practices.
If possible, please share:
- Your current visiting policy for critical care units
- Any recent changes or adaptations (e.g., post-pandemic adjustments)
- Supporting documents or guidance used locally
- Written free-hand text of your local practice
Your contributions will help ensure the updated position statement reflects best practice and supports patient, family, and staff needs.
