British Societies guidelines on the management of emergencies in patients on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation

The British Societies have published its guidelines on the management of emergencies in patients on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
BACCN Chair and critical care nurse Ian Naldrett represented the BACCN, who were the only nursing association to endorse this document which was the first of its kind guideline.
This ensured that the voice of the critical care nurse had clear representation in the development of these guidelines.
