June Twitter Chat Report

27th Jun 2019

Thank you to all those that took part in our #baccnals Twitter Chat. We were discussing the merit / requirement for ICU nursing staff to have Advanced Life Support training.  The Twitter chat was very insightful and created good debate throughout. I(@karin_gerber) always assumed that every unit / hospital do more or less the same with regards to resuscitation training, but this chat really opened my eyes with regards to not just the varing level of resuscitation training for nurses working within Critical Care / each unit, but also how each hospital's  Resuscitation Department are being utilised across the country.

I want to thank @TrishMcCready for moderating a very fast paced chat - well done.  Below is the usual wakelet twitter summary you can use to catch up if you've missed the chat on the night and or to be used for revalidation purposes. Here’s @TrishMcCready’s summary of your comments.
